"If you are looking to purchase land or a villa in Indonesia, you should consider engaging the services of Michael Lenihan at Gateway Consulting.

We spent more than six months conducting detailed research into buying in either Bali or Lombok, and even though we thought we had a good understanding of the processes and laws, we found that we knew very little.

Investing or living in Indonesia can be highly rewarding, but it is also fraught with danger and pitfalls for the uneducated. Put, you cannot navigate the complexities yourself – you would be putting your money at very high risk.

I made a private land deal in Uluwatu Bali that was fully paid for and unsecured three years ago. After spending my money, I was in a compromised position and did not have a formal legal deed. Michael assured me he would do everything he could to secure my land. I instinctively trusted him, and my instinct was correct. Michael went at it with passion and tenacity. He was there for me from early morning to late night and was 100% in my court communicating with the landowner.
